General description of the USB-REL4-8A module
Our USB-REL16_3A modules are equipped with PCN series printed relays that can switch loads of up to 3A or 90W. Thanks to the Multi Connection System, our relays are also 100 percent protected against incorrect connection. The plug connection is coded by cutting off the coding lugs.
Since we designed the USB-REL16-3A module for industrial use for control and regulation, it meets the EMC and RoHS standards. There are also control LEDs built into the USB relay card, which allow activity to be read quickly at any time. The sturdy aluminum housing offers recesses for mounting on a wall or for mounting on a top-hat rail.
USB relay card with Plug and Play technology
Thanks to the Human Interface Device (HID) process, our USB modules do not require any driver installation. Simply plug it in and you're ready to go. In addition, communication is more reliable and faster compared to standard modules. The plug and play technology of our Yamutec® USB-REL16_3A modules saves you time as there is no need for time-consuming driver installation.
There is also the possibility of the output module with the combination
8 x 90W and 8 x 10W Option to order.
The integration of multiple USB modules in a common system
Would you like to combine several USB relay cards or USB optomodules in your application? Our Yamutec® modules make your work easier. You can assign an internal identification number to each USB card using the on-board coding switch. This means that up to 16 modules can be used in one system.
Timeout function
We have in ours USB relay cards a timeout function integrated. This is an output protection that automatically opens the relays of the Yamutec® USB-REL16_3A module if communication with the control PC is lost. This can happen, for example, in the event of a software error or a system crash. For more flexibility, you can decide for yourself after which period Timeout function should grab. Set your desired timeout period in 100 millisecond increments.
Software implementation
The Yamutec® USB-REL16_3A modules offer effortless integration into various common programming languages with the included YMLib.dll file. The YMLib.dll file opens up a variety of possibilities and simplifies programming considerably.
