General technical description
The SER-REL64 module has powerful reed relays that can reliably handle switching loads of up to 10 W. Thanks to the innovative multi-connection system, error-free installation of the relays is guaranteed. The plug connections are clearly marked by removing the coding tabs.
The SER-REL64 was specifically designed for use in industrial control and automation systems and complies with EMC and RoHS guidelines. The relay card has integrated status LEDs that enable quick monitoring of the operating states. The robust aluminum housing is designed for both wall mounting and mounting on a DIN rail.
SER relay and input modules with easy plug-and-play installation
Thanks to the serial interface, no complex driver installation is required for the SER-REL64. It is ready for use immediately after connection. Data transfer is stable at a speed of up to 115200 bit/s. Thanks to the plug-and-play function of the Yamutec® SER-REL64 modules, commissioning is time-saving and efficient.
Timeout function – protection mechanism for your load system in case of connection loss
The SER-REL64 module has a timeout function that Operational safety increased. This safety mechanism ensures that the relays are automatically deactivated if the connection to the control computer is interrupted - be it due to a software error or a system crash. The timeout time can be flexibly set in 100-millisecond increments to meet individual requirements.
Software Integration
The Yamutec® SER-REL64 modules can be seamlessly integrated into various common programming languages using the YMLib.dll file provided. This DLL file expands the application possibilities and makes application development much easier. In addition, control can be carried out directly via HyperTerminal, with the baud rate being flexible in four steps between 2400 and 115200 can be adjusted.
The output module can also be supplied in a version with a combination of
