General technical description
The SER-REL32-3A module is equipped with high-quality PCN series print relays which can switch loads of up to 3A or 90W. The multi-connection system ensures that the relays are plugged in correctly. The plug connections are coded by removing the coding tabs.
Since the SER-REL32-3A is specifically for industrial use in control and regulation systems It complies with the EMC and RoHS directives. The relay card also has integrated control LEDsthat enable quick status checking. The robust aluminum housing offers recesses for wall mounting or attachment to a DIN rail.
SER relay and input modules with easy plug-and-play installation
Thanks to the serial interface, the SER-REL32-3A does not require any complex driver installation. The module is ready for use as soon as it is connected. Communication is reliable and at a speed of up to 115200 bit/s. Thanks to the plug-and-play function ours Yamutec® SER-REL32 modules save valuable time during commissioning.
Timeout function – protection mechanism for your load system in case of connection loss
To ensure greater operational reliability, the SER-REL32-3A is equipped with a timeout function. This protective mechanism ensures that the relays switch off automatically if the connection to the control PC is interrupted, for example due to a software error or system crash. The timeout duration can be individually adjusted in 100-millisecond increments to offer maximum flexibility.
Software implementation
The SER-REL32_3A modules from Yamutec® can be easily integrated into numerous common programming languages thanks to the YMLib.dll file provided. This DLL file significantly expands the application possibilities and simplifies development considerably. In addition, control can be carried out directly via HyperTerminal. The baud rate can be set in four levels between 2400 and 115200.
There is also the possibility of the output module with the combination
16 x 90W and 16 x 10W Option to order.
