General technical description
Our SER 32-channel relay modules contain 16 PCN series print relays that can switch loads of up to 3A or 90W. In addition, 16 additional print relays are integrated that are suitable for smaller loads of up to 10W. Thanks to the multi-connection system used, the relays are completely protected against incorrect insertion. The plug connections can be easily coded by removing the coding tabs.
The SER 32-channel relay module 10W & 3A was developed for efficient control and regulation technology. It enables the switching of both powerful and weaker load circuits and is therefore an optimal alternative to using two separate relay cards. The modules comply with the EMC and RoHS guidelines. In addition, the SER relay module has integrated control LEDs that enable quick status display. The robust aluminum housing has recesses for wall mounting or attachment to a top-hat rail.
Timeout function – protection mechanism for your load system in case of connection loss
To ensure greater operational reliability, the SER-REL32-3A_10W is equipped with a timeout function. This protective mechanism ensures that the relays switch off automatically if the connection to the control PC is interrupted, for example due to a software error or system crash. The timeout duration can be individually adjusted in 100-millisecond increments to offer maximum flexibility.
Software implementation
The SER-REL32-3A_10W modules from Yamutec® can be easily integrated into numerous common programming languages thanks to the YMLib.dll file provided. This DLL file significantly expands the application possibilities and simplifies development considerably. In addition, control can be carried out directly via HyperTerminal. The baud rate can be set in four levels between 2400 and 115200.
