General technical description
The SER-REL32 module is equipped with high-quality reed relays that are able to switch loads of up to 10W. The multi-connection system ensures that the relays can be plugged in without errors. The plug connections are clearly marked by removing the coding tabs.
The SER-REL32 was specially designed for use in industrial control and regulation systems and therefore complies with EMC and RoHS requirements. The relay card is also equipped with integrated control LEDs that allow for quick status checking. The sturdy aluminum housing is designed for wall mounting or installation on a DIN rail.
SER relay and input modules with easy plug-and-play installation
Thanks to the serial interface, the SER-REL32 does not require any complex driver installation. It is ready for use as soon as it is connected. Communication is reliable at a speed of up to 115200 bit/s. the plug-and-play function the Yamutec® SER-REL32 modules you can save valuable time during commissioning.
Timeout function – protection mechanism for your load system in case of connection loss
The SER-REL32 module offers a timeout function that provides additional operational safety This protection mechanism ensures that the relays are automatically switched off if the connection to the control PC is lost, for example due to a software error or system crash. The timeout duration can be individually adjusted in 100 millisecond increments, which ensures high flexibility enabled.
Software Integration
The SER-REL32 modules from Yamutec® can be easily integrated into various common programming languages thanks to the included YMLib.dll file. This DLL file expands the possible uses and simplifies development considerably. In addition, control is possible directly via HyperTerminal, with the baud rate being adjustable in four steps between 2400 and 115200 is adjustable.
The output module can also be supplied in a version with a combination of
16 x 90W and 16 x 10W can be ordered.
