Yamutec® ETH-REL4_8A – Technical description
Our basic model for Ethernet relay modules, the 8A 4-fold Ethernet relay card is designed for small circuits with relatively high currents. Areas of application include, for example, alarm systems for buildings or machines in production halls. The relay card is equipped with 4 Power Relay 1 POLE-8A relays. These ensure excellent galvanic isolation of the outputs and work with switching voltages of up to 36V AC or 24V DC.
To control the 4-fold relay card, connect it to the 100/10 Mbit Ethernet port on the network or a control PC. If the network has an internet connection, you can also control our relay module using the Yamutec I/O Remote app. You receive notifications when the status changes and can switch or name them yourself. Each module has a unique MAC address and receives its IP via DHCP or directly from you.
In addition to monitoring via app, it is possible to set automatic timeout protection for each relay. This opens or closes the relays if, for example, a fault occurs. This is very helpful to protect valuable systems from surges and to provide alarm signals.
